Scholarship Opportunities

The Advanced Standing Associates Program (ASAP) is for rising seniors who want to start earning a BFIT associates degree while they are still in high school.

Accepted scholars receive a year of free tuition, fees, and books, and are admitted as sophomores to BFIT associate’s degree program after graduating from high school. Scholars can earn their college degree just one year after their high school diploma and complete their first year of college coursework for free.

This is a great opportunity for scholars who are specifically interested in trade industries like automotive, electrician, opticianry, and health information technologies.

Due Dates:

• CCP Pre-BFIT Application Due: Monday 2/28 
• CCP Team will inform Scholars of their application status by:  Monday 3/7
• Official BFIT Application Due: Friday 4/1

The College Prep Scholars Program equips high-achieving high school juniors from low-income backgrounds with the knowledge, confidence, and resources to apply to top colleges.

College Prep Scholars are nearly five times more likely than other applicants to receive full four-year scholarships through the National College Match.

The Posse Foundation program places Scholars in supportive, multicultural groups of 10 scholars — Posses. With mentoring and full-tuition leadership scholarships from partner colleges (nation’s top institutions of higher education), 

Through our partnership with Posse, NHCS chosen scholars will compete over the course of three months, and nominees will experience Posse’s unique recruitment strategy, The Dynamic Assessment Process.
